Wepwawet Egyptian Mythology Art Print - Sunset Temple Guardian

Wepwawet Egyptian Mythology Art Print portrays a grey canine-headed figure standing between dark carved temple pillars. A gold staff topped with a small standing canine figure rises beside his face. Blue draped cloth, a white wrapped garment and a broad gold belt contrast with the warm light on his muscular torso. Behind the doorway, the setting sun illuminates a distant valley and winding water beneath layered hills. Detailed fur, weathered stone and folds of fabric give this upright character portrait its textured, atmospheric finish. Wepwawet belongs to ancient Egyptian religion and is associated with opening the ways and with Osiris. This artwork is a modern imagined portrayal of the deity, with the temple, costume and landscape treated as artistic interpretation. Physical, unframed print in A5, A4 or A3. Frames and styling accessories shown in mockups are not included.
